What you will do

Johnson Controls is a global leader in the design, manufacture, installation and service of a comprehensive array of fire alarm, sprinkler, security and communications systems. Our continued success and growth has produced a need for a qualified Truck Driver / Shop Tech in our Raleigh, NC. A professional driver is needed to receive incoming materials , pick up new orders and make daily deliveries of Sprinkler and Fire Alarm Equipment.

What we look for

Required:

• Daily deliveries of Sprinkler and Fire Alarm equipment

• Must have a valid drivers license

• Must have experience driving pickup truck

• Must have experience driving a rack or box truck with a minimum of 12' cargo area

• Must be able to properly lift an array of equipment with varying shapes, sizes and weights.

• Must have a minimum of a high school diploma or equal certificate

• Must be willing and able to adjust to various start times to service our customer

• Must be willing and able to adjust to being on call and work nights with various start times to service our customers

• Must appreciate, respect and demonstrate strong team skills

• Organizational skills are beneficial

• Inventory experience is beneficial

• Basic computer skills are beneficial
