Landscaping Crew Lead

Smartscaping is seeking a dedicated Landscaping Crew Lead to join our team in Houston, TX 77054. As a family-owned landscaping and construction firm specializing in custom landscape design and maintenance, we are committed to providing seamless, high-quality landscaping solutions for both residential and commercial properties.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of landscaping crew members in various tasks such as mulching, weeding, pruning, mowing, transplanting, laying sod, irrigation, landscape installation, hardscapes, and more
• Manage and maintain grounds by fertilizing, weed eating, lawn care, tree trimming, and other horticultural practices
• Assist in landscape design, edging, seeding, and other landscaping projects as needed

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma.
• Knowledge of tools and equipment used in landscaping.
• On-the-job training.
• 2 years of experience in a landscape leadership role.
• Ability to provide clear written and verbal instructions to direct reports.
