Landscaping Crew Lead

• Load all tools, gas, and other necessary equipment/materials. Secure all equipment safely. • Check truck oil, fluids, tire pressure, trailer connection, and lights to ensure they are in working condition. Perform maintenance tasks on client’s properties: • Work in conjunction with the Superintendent to ensure the work contracted is implemented efficiently and according to the contracted specifications. • Provide labor associated with the maintenance of all lawns & garden beds, including cleanouts. • Perform all tasks of operations including but not limited to mowing, trash collection, blowing, leaf and debris removal, weeding, edging, hedging, raking and mulch installation. • Receive openly “on the job” training safety, equipment, technique, etc. • Perform proper use of safety equipment and personal protective equipment while Field Associate Employer Information Tasks Job Description: Field Associate, General performing assigned tasks. End of the day duties: • Complete time sheet. Complete all job site reports. Inventory and report all materials used on the job that day. • Unload/load equipment and material, clean out truck/trailer by removing trash, debris, etc. daily. • Wash dirty equipment and return to storage location. Report damaged or broken equipment to your manager immediately to get parts on order. • Fill truck, mowers, equipment, and cans with gas in preparation for the next day. • Driving Company Truck • Navigating Directions to get from Job site to Job site • Load/ Unload Equipment • Inputting Information into Software • Ensuring Safety of self and company property • Cut Grass • Edge Grass • Blow Grass • Pick Up Trash • Other duties as assigned Physical Demands • Ability to lift 60 lbs. plus consistently throughout the day. • High attention to detail. • High ability to deal with ambiguity in a high stress environment. • Professionalism is required on and off duty while wearing Smartscaping’s uniform. • Available to work a varied schedule (including Saturdays and Sundays) in all adverse weather conditions. • Stoop, stand and bend for 10 or more hours a day.
